Jeff Derrickson on rhythm guitar, percussion, harmonica, lead & harmony vocals

Jeff was born and raised in Mattoon, IL which qualifies him as a (car)toon character! He was born with a broken heart and music has been spillin' out ever since. Musical influences include those excellent vocalists like "Nat" Cole, Clyde McPhatter, Percy Sledge, Johnny Nash, Jackie Wilson, Poco, Eagles, and Crosby Stills & Nash -- the control! the harmonies! Jeff has played in many groups and  likes this band because of those "lead licks" that Tim does so effortlessly and singing harmony with that solid rhythm guitarist, Diana. God is good, all the time. Life is short, so eat dessert first!

Diana Ingram on guitar, lead & harmony vocals

Diana was born in Scottland, IL (yes, there is one!), went through Chrisman high school to EIU. Her musical life began singing at church with her friends, and continued with band (marching, pep, concert, and jazz -- in a small school, you do it all!). She's been singing in praise bands since she was a teenager.  Her first pop band was Something Anything. Diana cites all AM radio (and her older sister) in the 60s as her musical influences (Beatles, Monkees, The Turtles, Doobie Brothers, Carole King, Three Dog Night...). Diana likes this band because of their love and respect of rock & roll from the early pioneers of the really cool stuff. We love it! Tap your feet & sing along. As Albert Schweizer put it, "The only escape from the miseries of life are music and cats."

Tim Mills on electric guitar

Tim was born in Texas, grew up in the Mississippi Delta, went to school in Louisiana, and came to Charleston to teach at EIU over 20 years ago. He picked up his brother's guitar at 5, but really got serious about playing in 1963 with The Ventures albums. Since high school he's been in many bands (The Reasons, The Mishaps, The Barons, The Darkest Hour...and now TMB). He lived through the birth of rock and roll listening to great music by Elvis, The Everly Bros., Johnny Cash, The Ventures, The Beach Boys, Peter, Paul & Mary, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, and most of all, The Beatles. He loves playing his favorite music with his favorite people. He says, "We're timeless, fun for the whole family, and we won't burst your eardrums." You're never too old to rock & roll!

Dano Reible on the bass guitar, harmonica, lead & harmony vocals

Dano is from Fremont, California and moved to the Charleston area after he was discharged from the Navy. He was musically inclined and always sang as a kid, playing the trombone in high school. After seeing Charlie Mustlewhite on Sunday Morning with Charles Kuralt, he picked up a harmonica. Later he played with The Toasters and started The Mighty Roadkings with Rev. Robert. The bluesy feel of Muddy Waters, Little Walters, Led Zepplin, Al Steward, and the Allman Brothers have been a big influence for Dano. He loves the people in the band and the collection of music TMB plays. He is blessed by God with great friends and a wife and family that bring him more joy and happiness than ever expected. Love your life or do something about it!
